Hoboland.....
This has to be the most unrecognized downtown skyline in the world. This is my town -- Seoul, South Korea. I have spent over 18 years of my life in this fine city. My handle is "hobo" and I would like to welcome all to HOBOLAND.
Taste of Jazz
It was a music mission that brought me to the Hyatt Hotel's live music watering hole JJ Mahoney's in August of 1992. I was, for 3 months, to fill in for an ailing bass player. I stayed and am still here, living a Korean lifestyle, playing music in Seoul. A quick contract turned into a virtual lifetime and I still dig it here. Woodcrafters Korea
I have always loved wood. The way the grain flows, shapes and contours much like flame and smoke. These shapes are then further fashioned into an object of art or function or both. Even a common bookshelf or stool can be to me a work of art. In 2008 I opened my wood shop. A foreigner owned wood shop, A first in Korea as far as I can tell. From concept to the finished product, with each new learned skill each success and each failure I am so excited and alive. This is my last great skill.
